Who is responsible

This site is run by the author Nora Hale (a pen name). You can reach me through the contact form.

What I collect

When you sign up, I store your email address, which list you joined (the free Pocket Kit or the Book 2 waitlist), the date, the version of the consent text you agreed to, and your approximate country as reported by the hosting provider. Nothing else.

Why

To give you the Pocket Kit and to email you occasionally about new Nora Hale books. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Where it’s kept and who sees it

Sign-ups are stored in a database on Cloudflare, which hosts this site. When I send emails, I may use an email delivery service to do it. I never sell or rent your address.

How long

Until you unsubscribe, or until the book series ends, whichever comes first.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, or delete your data, and you can withdraw consent at any time. The quickest way to delete your data is the unsubscribe page, which removes your address from every list straight away. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Messages

If you write through the contact form, I store your email and message to reply, and delete them once the conversation is finished.
